Give customers a clear shipment view

Help a dealer or shipper find their vehicles, understand milestones and prepare for delivery.

Prepare customer access

  • Confirm the customer organization and the people who need access.
  • Use the portal invitation or access process configured for the account.
  • Check what the customer should be able to view or request.
  • Review the logo and customer-facing contact details when branding is enabled.

Submit a useful movement request

  1. 1Identify the vehicle and provide the VIN when available.
  2. 2Provide complete pickup and receiving locations with contact details.
  3. 3Record requested dates, operating hours and access restrictions.
  4. 4Describe operability, keys and any unusual loading requirements.
  5. 5Review the submitted request and its reference so the team can follow up.

Read the shipment status

Use the milestone as a starting point, then inspect the detail behind it. Requested dates, estimated windows and confirmed events are different kinds of information.

  • Before pickup: confirm the vehicle is available and release requirements are ready.
  • In transit: review the latest update and receiving arrangements.
  • At delivery: confirm who will receive the vehicle and document any condition concerns.

Find documents and resolve a question

  • Open the relevant movement rather than starting with a general account question.
  • Review the files available for that shipment and the contact information provided.
  • Include the order or vehicle reference when asking for an update.
  • If a vehicle is missing from view, have the administrator check its customer association and your portal access.

Receiving checklist

  1. 1Confirm the correct VIN and receiving party.
  2. 2Review vehicle condition and record discrepancies promptly.
  3. 3Complete the required delivery acknowledgment.
  4. 4Retain the shipment reference and supporting documents for any follow-up.
